In this week's Feedback Friday feature on the Tabula Rasa community site, NCsoft announces that Deployment 10, the game's next update, is now on the test server.
It’s Feedback Friday time, and we're here to give you an update on what’s been going on in the world of Tabula Rasa for this week.
Deployment 10 is now on the Public Test Server and we’d love any chance you get to take a crack at it and, to put it bluntly, break it. We had a 2 week bug fixing extension for this deployment, so we know some of you are chomping at the bit to see it. The next patch will also include fixes to some of the current D10 known issues.
As mentioned in the D10 announcement post, the Pegasus character database will populate the Public Test Server until our next build (some time next week). When the next build is added to PTS, so will the Cassiopeia character database.

Blizzard has announced that they have opened the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In program, giving players the chance to be selected for the beta process.
Today we opened the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In program, which gives players a chance to win an invitation to the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King beta. For The Burning Crusade beta, we randomly invited players from the entire World of Warcraft community. With the Opt-In, our goal is to strengthen the beta-testing process by inviting only those players who have expressed active interest in participating.
Keep in mind that opting in doesn't guarantee you'll be selected for the beta. And players who've previously been promised beta access through a promotion or contest (such as by purchasing the Dell XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition notebook) don't need to worry -- you'll still be entered into the beta automatically when the time comes.

The Lord of the Rings Online Lorebook has been updated with a look at Cachúnir,  a gatherer of Elven lore who dwells in the house of Elrond.
Cachúnir is a High Elf who dwells in the House of Elrond in Rivendell. With the coming of the Shadow, he has felt the desire to leave the darkness behind and sail into the West but hesitates to do so. He fears that once his kindred have passed out of Middle-earth, much of the history and lore of that world will be lost with them. Thus Cachúnir has initiated efforts to gather as much lore as possible at Rivendell so that the days of old will not be forgotten, even when the Elves have all left the shores of Middle-earth.

I spend most of my day dealing with support incidents along those lines. Everyone has a good reason why their particular claim is worthy. On the one hand, we should reimburse anything anyone wants. It’s a matter of customer goodwill. If you’re frustrated and angry and feel cheated, then we have a very undesirable situation on our hands. Our goal is NEVER to make you feel cheated. Certainly you should expect some loss – it’s a game: you win some, you lose some. But loss and cheated are different and cheated isn’t an experience you should have in the game.
On the other hand, there are a number of reasons we can’t reimburse everyone everything regardless of the circumstances. For example, if you’re in a battle with another player and they pull their network cable, they shouldn’t immediately disappear and avoid being sunk. So they don’t – their ship remains in the zone until they’re out of combat or for 2 minutes. If they then claim they had a network disconnect and the ship that you sunk as it remained in the zone should be reimbursed, that’s an exploit. You now have a ship (if you’re a pirate) or at least the rewards for winning the fight AND he has the ship also. Suddenly, you can farm CSRs for first rates. That would be an untenable situation for the game for many reasons including economic and gameplay balance issues. Plus we just wouldn’t be able to staff the necessary CSRs to manage all those reimbursements.

Nexon has posted the release notes for version 0.56 of Maple Story.  The new version includes a new land to explore, skill revisions, new gameplay features, new quests, and more.

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. June 20, 2008. Online PC game publisher YNK Interactive announced the launch of the Exchange Market and Special Services for their new massively multi-player online role-playing game, Rohan: Blood Feud (www.playrohan.com). These two features, in addition to the previously-released Item Mall, round out the final components of the Trading Center.
"The Exchange Market and Special Services together are another addition designed to give players more freedoms in playing the game," said Jun Lee, CEO of YNK Interactive. "They now have even more options to make the game their own, and play how they want to play." 
The unique Exchange Market is a secure trading option for players who wish to buy and sell items, crones (in-game currency), and even characters, to and from other players.  This, in addition to the Item Mall which launched last week, makes up the components of the Trading Center. All sales are safe and instantaneous, and items are deposited directly into the buyers' inventory. Transactions are made with Rohan Points (RPs), which can be used to make purchases not only on the Exchange Market, but the Item Mall as well. Rohan Points can be obtained two ways:
1.  They can be bought directly from YNK Interactive via several international payment methods.
2.  They can be earned by selling in-game items through the Exchange Market from player to player.
With a one-time membership fee of 5.00 dollars, users are able to utilize this safe and reliable exchange service continuously.
The Special Services is another addition, which allows players to modify their character name and gender.
Also, new item mall items were also added during the Trading Center expansion.
